Girl adopted by Karimnagar police clears Inter exam
Bhavani recently passed her intermediate exams.
Hyderabad: With duty in her mind and love in her heart, V. Madhavi began her journey in the police force in 1996 when she was 23 years old. Currently posted as Task Force Inspector of Karimnagar, Madhavi has ensured that she looks after the people in her area both in times of need as well as in happier times, which is why she is known as Amma (mother) in all the places where she has worked.
One of her protégés is G. Bhavani from Sircilla. “I have been taking care of her since 2016. I do these things out of passion and with no other motive,” Madhavi said. Bhavani had lost her parents and since then she has been looked after by Madhavi.
“Bhavani has the spark to excel in life; all she needed was support which I have rendered. Anybody would have done the same thing if they had come across this girl. So, there is nothing great in talking about what I have done,” the inspector said. Bhavani recently passed her intermediate exams.
A few months ago, the local police rescued a 20-day-old infant from a temple in Vemulwada. Inspector Madhavi rushed to the spot and ensured that the child was safely handed over to the women and child welfare department.
More concerned and caring police officers like her would transform this country and particularly the lives of its women.
