Allahabad High Court judge sent to Telangana High Court
Justice Sridevi had requested the transfer to the Telangana High Court.
Hyderabad: The Supreme Court collegium has resolved to recommend the transfer of Justice Ghandikota Sridevi, additional judge of the Allahabad High Court, to the Telangana High Court.
The five senior judges of the SC collegium have forwarded the resolution to the Union law ministry to secure approval from President Ram Nath Kovind.
Justice Sridevi had requested the transfer to the Telangana High Court. A native of Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh, she was selected for the higher judicial services in Uttar Pradesh in 2005 and worked in various courts in that state.
She was elevated as the High Court additional judge on November 22, 2018, under the service quota and appointed to the Allahabad High Court.
