Chandrababu Naidu to give Narendra Modi report on drought

Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the government wants to explain the drought situation in AP.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu took part in a meeting with finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and some Cabinet colleagues and officials ahead of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 17.
Mr Naidu returned from his holiday abroad earlier on Sunday.

They discussed various issues related to the AP Reorganisation Act that Mr Naidu is expected to highlight when he meets Mr Modi.

The CM will hold another meeting on Monday. Senior officials are preparing a detailed draft and Mr Naidu wants to make a Powerpoint presentation along with state ministers and senior officials to Mr Modi.

Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the government wants to explain the drought situation in AP. It would also raise state issues including special status and funds.
