Telangana: Baseline survey for Mission Bhagiratha

Hyderabad: The Unicef and the Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) will jointly take up a baseline survey across the state ahead of launching the Mission Bhagiratha project.

Chief secretary  S.P. Singh on Monday said  that the survey is to assess the prevailing drinking water situation in villages and how the Mission Bhagiratha would transform this situation after it comes into operation.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has set a deadline of December this year to complete the project.
