Kerala tourism tweet woos victor MLAs with safe resorts'
The tweet came amidst rumours that the JDS camp might hide some of their MLAs in reclusive resorts to prevent them being lured by rival BJP camp.
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Tourism drew accolades and flak at the same time for a mischievous tweet inviting victors of Karnataka assembly elections to the ‘safe resorts’ in the state. The tweet came amidst rumours that the JDS camp might hide some of their MLAs in reclusive resorts to prevent them being lured by rival BJP camp.
The Kerala Tourism tweeted, “After the rough and tumble of Karnataka verdict we invite all the MLAs to unwind at the safe and beautiful resorts of God’s Own Country”. The tweet was deleted later after the tourism department officials warned the advertisement company against such posts. The resort politics’ last took place in Tamilnadu during political turmoil that happened after the death of the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
