Hyderabad: Id prayers to echo message of peace
Muslims in their individual capacity say prayers for unity, peace and prosperity of the country, and safety of the community.
Hyderabad: Muslims across India, with the exception of Kerala, will celebrate Id-ul-Fitr on Saturday, with congregational prayers being held in all major mosques and idgahs.

“We have been praying every day for the safety of the community, not just for Muslims in Palestine, Syria, Iraq or Yemen but also Indian Muslims. We pray through the year, but more so in Ramzan. We pray for unity and peace in the country, On Id day, I plan to offer special prayers for lessening the communal hatred and for an end to attacks on the community under the pretext of cow slaughter,” said Hafiz Rizwan Quraishi, Khateeb, Macca Masjid.
