Mr Reddy has decided to live in the AP Capital region in Guntur district.
Hyderabad: While Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ceases to be a Hyderabadi with his enrolment in pulse survey on July 9, Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is now ready to say goodbye to Hyderabad. Mr Reddy has decided to live in the AP Capital region in Guntur district, according to sources close to him. These sources said his close confidants are scouting for a house for buy or on rent near Mangalagiri in Guntur district. On the other hand, YSRC headquarters will also be built near Mangalagiri. This is hoped to remove fears of the capital region residents that Mr Reddy will shift capital from the area to Rayalaseema or Ongole region if he comes to the power in 2019.
A party sources said, “A land has been identified for construction of party headquarters in Guntur district. At the same time, the party le-ader is also shifting so-on to a rented house or to one he plans to purchase. He will be living there.” Mr Reddy is so far a vo-ter in Pulivendula, his home town in Kadapa, which he frequently visits but he stays in Hyderabad. His Lotus Pond residence and office have been in news recently as they were attached by the Enforcement Direct-orate. The party is also planning to move the court stating that the CBI didn’t mention these properties in its case and hence the attachment was unwarranted and unlawful.

Mr Naidu was so far an elector from Khaira-tabad Assembly segme-nt in Hyderabad and was elected from Kupp-am Assembly segment in AP. Enumerators collected particulars from the Chief Minister and his family members on the banks of River Krishna in Lingamaneni Guesthouse.
