MBBS seats: Plaint against minority colleges
They complained that the website was not active and seats were allotted without informing all the eligible candidates.
Bengaluru: Around 200 students have lodged a complaint against the Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Mionority Colleges Association for not following transparent admission procedure while allocating MBBS seats in the member institutions with the one man overseeing committee headed by Justice Gururajan.
According to sources at the state medical education department, around 200 students met the Gururajan committee officials at the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) office on Thursday morning and alleged that minority colleges were not allowing them to participate in the seat allotment process even though they were eligibile.
They complained that the website was not active and seats were allotted without informing all the eligible candidates. They also alleged that students with lower NEET ranking have been allotted seats.
