There the boy handed over a cheque of Rs 11,000 towards funds for the construction of the capital city. Mr Prasad, who works as a manager at a private firm, also donated Rs 49,000 towards the development of the capital. According to his grandfather, the boy had been collecting money in his junior savings account.
Mr Prasad’s daughter and son-in-law are both software engineers who are currently living in MP. Meanwhile, the boy is under his grandfather’s care. Though they hail from Pedanandipadu, they are settled in Guntur city. “I wanted to fulfil my grandson’s wish, and so I brought him to see the Chief Minister. The boy is so happy,” Mr Prasad said.
