Bengaluru: Dasara festivities launched at Kempegowda International Airport

Bengaluru: The Kempegowda International Airport on Monday launched its four-day Dasara festivities. The Bengaluru International Airport Ltd, which operates KIA, in association with the Department of Kannada and Culture, launched the event to showcase the cultural heritage with music and dance performances.

Chief Secretary T.M. Vijay Bhaskar inaugurated the show. Award-winning Hindustani classical vocalist Sangeeta Katti performed, which was followed by a Mohiniattam performance by Mrs Sreelekha, an employee of BIAL. 

The final show was a one-hour classical dance performance by Ashok and team. BIAL has also put up a display of dolls in nine tiers at the kerb.
