Chenna Reddy centenary fete from January 13

This was decided at the first meeting of the Dr M. Channa Reddy birth centenary celebrations committee held on Wednesday evening.

Hyderabad: The year-long celebrations of the birth centenary of  former Governor and former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Dr Marri Channa Reddy will commence on January 13. 

This was decided at the first meeting of the Dr M. Channa Reddy birth centenary celebrations committee held on Wednesday evening under the chairmanship of former Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah. It was attended by former Union ministers S. Jaipal Reddy, T. Subbarami Reddy, PCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, TRS MP and former PCC president D. Srinivas besides several former ministers, MLAs and MLCs.

The meeting recalled the contributions of Dr Channa Reddy to Telangana statehood, the development of Andhra Pradesh as CM, his services to the people of different states where he was Governor and as Union minister.
