Kalyan's agenda based meet with Smriti Irani

Producer C. Kalyan, also the President of the Film Federation of India (FFI), met Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani on Tuesday in New Delhi. He reportedly discussed a few problems faced by the film industry to which the Minister responded in a very positive manner.“The International Film Festival is going to be inaugurated on the 20th of this month in Goa and we mainly discussed about that. I also told her about other problems faced by the film industry like GST and censor issues,” says Kalyan.

He adds, “She understood the issues and said that she will meet all the producers on November 21 in Goa at a breakfast meet.” Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is the special guest at the opening of the Goa Film Festival while they are considering inviting either Prabhas or Mahesh Babu for the closing ceremony, depending on their availability.
