Sixth edition of Kerala Health Tourism to held on November 17, 18

Kozhikode: The sixth edition of Kerala Health Tourism (KHT), the flagship programme of the Health and Tourism Sector in Kerala organized under the banner of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be held on November 17 and 18 at the Raviz Resort. The programme is organized in association with the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).

The programme aims at creating awareness and getting all stakeholders together to promote Kerala as the hub for medical tourism in India by 2020.  As an outcome of the programme, the Kerala Medical Travel Society would be made a registered society and its activities would be formally supported with the involvement of the government and industry members who would actively take part in trade shows to increase healthcare visitors to the State, said the organizers.

The programme will consist of a one-and-half -day conference, two-day Exhibition and B2B and B2G meetings. More than 300 national and international delegates are expected to participate in the conference and over 800 will visit the exhibition. Delegations from Oman, Maldives & Saudi Arabia will be joining the event.

Key Speakers confirmed for the Kerala Health Tourism 2017 include T P Ramakrishnan, Minister for Labour and Excise, Dr M Beena IAS, Managing Director; KSIDC, Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director, Lulu Financial Group,  Vikram Kirloskar, Chairman, CII SR and Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, A Pradeep Kumar MLA, Dr M K Muneer, MLA and Mr M K Raghavan MP.
