3 innovative apps to up Amaravati's expansion
Multiple systems to govern the city being put in place.
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu released three innovative applications during the Amaravati Deep Dive Workshop at Hotel Gateway, on Friday. As Amaravati is set to be the swankiest capital in the country with immense construction activity ongoing and planned over the next few years, multiple systems to govern the city are now being put in place.
With the roll-out of the Masterplan and Land Pooling scheme plots to the farmers, Amaravati has launched a WebGIS portal, where it would be possible to view all the various plans that have been prepared and published by Amaravati. Th-ese include the Master-plan, Land Pooling Scheme layouts, specific plot-level details as well as Infrastructure plans.
These include the Building Permit system, LPS Plot register, estate management and so on. The platform is the first step in a larger project that will provide location services and real-time data on infrastructure, traffic and other services to the public, private as well as SMEs. The extension of these services will be developed in 6 months with the help of the Singapore government and affiliated agency Surbana Jurong.
About Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, “blockchain” is a robust framework that provides the most secure environment for applications and its data. APCRDA has employed Zebi Chain™, a framework to incorporate various data that it holds, including land details, ownership details, estate management and so on.
The Blockchain enabled Asset Management system has secured all the LPS ownership certificates in Amaravati, ensuring zero possibility of tampering. The third application that was launched is in light of the various developments that are being undertaken by private developers and Land Pooling Scheme farmers in the capital city. To enforce the meticulously planned Masterplan that has been prepared with the help of Singapore Government, a robust and automated system has now been put in place.
A BIM-based system will accept applications for building permits, in a 3D integrated format. This ensures two key problems for the citizen - one that now provides single-window clearance and one that ensures that the verification and scrutiny are automated.
Building Information Modeling, abbreviated as BIM is an emerging as a popular trend in the construction and infrastructure industry. It provides an intelligent information model that integrates various engineering disciples and stakeholders throug-hout the lifecycle of the development. These citizen services are being worked out by APCRDA.
