Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president Kummanam Rajashekharan on Tuesday alleged that RSS worker Sujith's murder at Pappinisseri in Kannur clearly indicated that the CPM was not prepared to end its politics of violence.
In a statement, the BJP leader accused the CPM of carrying out the heinous crime.

He said the attack was carried out after 11 pm by a gang without any provocation. "Even Sujith's parents and brother were brutally attacked by assailants in the incident which took place when everyone in the area was asleep," he added.

Mr Rajasekharan said that Sujith's only fault was that he had worked as BJP's election agent in a booth located near CPM leader  E. P. Jayarajan's house. While the people want peace in the area, the CPM isn't ready to shed its violent ways.

CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balalkrishnan said his party had no role in the murder of the BJP worker in Kannur. He told reporters in Delhi that an eve teasing case had led to the brutal killing of Sujith and it was result of personal enmity. He accused the BJP and RSS of deliberately leveling false allegations against the party.
