Power woes to be redressed in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Chief general manager (Operations) APEPDCL, K.S.N. Murty, informed that the APEPDCL directed all its superintending engineers (operations) and divisional engineers (operations) to conduct sub-station level advisory committee meetings from February 22 to 27 in view of ‘Power for All’ programme.

“The committee will function under the chairmanship of the MLA concerned of the constituency and with AE/ADEs, MPDOs, MROs, etc. as its members. The committee will monitor the power supply situation, review action taken to redress local problems of supply and distribution, review implementation of DSM measures as per the free power policy and suggest measures for betterment for the benefit of consumers.

The committee will submit its suggestions through a report after conducting meetings to the APEPDCL for taking necessary steps on the report,” added Mr Murty.
