KCR's biography released by Etela Rajender on eve of birthday
The book, written by Trinetra, comes on the eve of Mr Rao's birthday on Friday.
Hyderabad: Finance minister Etela Rajender on Thursday released “That is KCR,” a biography on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao which touches not only the Telangana movement but also developmental programmes taken up TRS government.
The book, written by Trinetra, comes on the eve of Mr Rao’s birthday on Friday, which TRS leaders and supporters plan to celebrate with gusto across the state.
“KCR instilled confidence in people, achieved Telangana, proved administrative skills and is leading the state to the path of development,” Mr Rajender at the book release function.
He said that since formation of the new state, Mr Rao has put his stamp on administrative matters, programmes and policies which have benefitted the people at large. “KCR’s welfare schemes have become a role model for the country. He has won accolades from all states,” Mr Rajender said.
Trinetra said the book will be available in all the 119 Assembly constituencies in the state on Mr Rao’s birthday. “Apara Bhageeratha”, an exhibition of paintings on the CM by artist Vikram Raj Savati is also being organised by Telangana Jagruti at Telangana Bhavan from February 17 to 19.
Nizamabad MP K. Kavita will open the exhibition. Elsewhere, Mr Rao will distribute financial assistance to kin of dead journalists and others from journalists’ welfare fund at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office under the auspices of Telangana State Press Academy.
Meanwhile, minister T. Srinivas Yadav will be conducting a special puja at Pedamma temple, Jubilee Hills, and has also planned a blood donation camp at Jalavihar.
