Rajahmundry: BJP objects to Jinnah on Congress banner
The Congress leaders set up flexi banners bearing the portraits of several veteran leaders of Indian National Congress.
Rajahmundry:Tension mounted at Congress party city office at Eluru when BJP supporters raised objection on the presence of portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah along with senior leaders of Indian National Congress like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and others on a flexi banner in the wake of involvement of Pakistan backed Jaish-e-Mohammamd in Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir recently.
The Congress leaders set up flexi banners bearing the portraits of several veteran leaders of Indian National Congress during month long celebration of 133th formation day of the party in December, 2018. At that time, the portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah found its place on the flexi banner mistakenly in the place of INC senior leader Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
