Round-the-clock monitoring of Tirumala amenities ordered

Tirupati: TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal instructed officials to monitor the amenities being provided to pilgrims in Tirumala round the clock. During the senior officers' coordination meeting at the conference hall in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Saturday evening, the EO said, a cell needs to be constituted with staff from all major departments to monitor continuously over the food, water, sanitation and other amenities.
"A team of officers need to be constituted to monitor the time taken for slotted sarva darshan, divya darshan and special entry darshanam. If lapses are identified, they need to be sorted out immediately," the EO added.
He instructed the concerned to put correct information on LED screens installed in the compartments.
Later the EO reviewed the civil and other development works in Sri Kodanda Ramalayam at Vontimitta in Kadapa district. He directed the concerned to complete all the works in stipulated time and instructed the electrical wing to enhance lighting in all local temples and forest wing to improve greenery.
The EO said that online booking of accommodation should be introduced in Sri Padmavathi Nilayam complex which is ready for inauguration. Tirupati JEO B. Lakshmi Kantham, CVSO Gopinath Jetti, DyEO General Goutami, CE Chandrasekhar Reddy, FACAO Balaji, Estates Officer Vijaya Saradhi, GM Sesha Reddy and others were also present.
