Hyderabad: Police case against son for rash driving false, claims Union Minister
Police registered a case against him under Section 184 (B) of the MV Act.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic police on Saturday registered a case against Union minister of state for science and technology Y.S. Chowdary’s son Y.S. Sri Karthik for rash driving in Banjara Hills.
Police registered a case against him under Section 184 (B) of the MV Act.
The Porsche is kept in the Banjara Hills police station. While the police hasn’t arrested Mr Karthik, a penalty has been imposed on him along with the MV Act case. Cops also said that he was not drunk while driving.
Karthik, whose wedding is on April 23, had returned from the US this week after finishing his studies. “My son is a disciplined person. He does not have any charges against him either in the US or in India. He and his friends had just gone for a joy ride at around 10.30 pm. The police case is not factual,” said the Union minister.
