Tollywood movie ‘Krishna Arjuna Yudham’ starring Nani, which was released last Friday was played in the TSRTC bus, alleged the passenger. Annoyed passenger tweeted to KTR complaining against the TSRTC Volvo bus for playing a new movie within a week of its release.
Sunil Kopparapu the passenger tweeted to KTR, “Piracy on bus travel, Garuda Volvo bus trip to Bengaluru from Hyderabad. How can you ask the common man to avoid piracy when an institute like TSRTC does it?’’
Reacting to the tweet of the passenger, the IT minister immediately responded saying, “That’s extremely irresponsible on the part of the TSRTC staff of this bus. Request JMD to make sure the practice won’t be repeated.’’
Responding to all the above tweets, a twitter handle by TSRTC responded, “Thanks for the feedback sir, RTC will never encourage this sort of thing. Could you please share the service number of your ticket details for necessary action?’’
According to the passenger, the bus service number was 8,200 but he didn’t want the bus personnel to get affected as his concern was only to alert the authorities as other buses too were doing the same.
