Hyderabad: Having captured the legislative, cooperative, and Panchayat Raj bodies, the TRS has turned its attention to capturing student unions.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday directed the ministers and legislators to cooperate with the new students wing, TRS Vidyarthi Vibha-gam.
At the TRS Legisla-ture Party meeting here, Mr Rao specially invited Student Wing president Gellu Srinivas Yadav and his team and introduced them to the MLAs.
He said there was a need to strengthen the TRSVV as those affiliated to other parties were not active.
Mr Rao said he had appointed state committee members, district conveners and coordinators for every four Assembly segments with whom the legislators should build rapport and coordinate their activities in all educational institutions.
