We don't attack, we only react: Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat
Bhat blamed Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai for unabashedly backing the minority community.
Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district including his hometown Bantwal, has turned into a communal cauldron but don’t blame the Hindus for it, asserts RSS veteran and the undisputable leader of saffron outfits in the coast, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat.
“Ours has always been a reaction to the action from the rival side, Hindus have never attacked first,” avers Bhat, who is blamed by the ruling Congress for the continuing tension in the region, which has already claimed two lives.
In a rare interview with Deccan Chronicle, Bhat blamed Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai for unabashedly backing the minority community. “If there any cases against them, Rai himself goes to the police station and brings the accused out of the station. This has created a belief among the minority community that they can do anything and walk free with the support of Rai,” he contended.
