Guntur: Rescue from borewell is rebirth of Chandu, say parents

Guntur: Chandrasekhar’s parents said the rescue was a re-birth for their two-year-old. “We had lost all hope. It was district officials who gave us support. The prayers of crores of Telugu people helped save my little boy,” said Ms A. Anusha, Chandrasekhar’s mother. 

Mr A. Mallikarjuna, the boy’s father, said he had no words to thank the officials. “I cannot imagine my family without our little Chandu. Our prayers have come true and Chandu came out defeating death,” he said.

The boy was taken to the Guntur Government Hospital for a complete examination. 

Health minister Kamineni Srinivas visited the boy on Wednesday morning.
