Nellore: Assam man ends life after tiff with wife
A native of Assam, Ali, aged 24 years, committed suicide by hanging in his rented house.
Nellore: A native of Assam, Ali, aged 24 years, committed suicide by hanging in his rented house allegedly in a fit of rage after a quarrel with his wife Priyanka, 23, at North Rajupalem in Kodavalur mandal. According to Kodavalur SI Mareddy Anji Reddy, Ali is working in a shrimp process firm, DCL Agro and his wife Priyanka also working in another shrimp firm Green House Agro at North Rajupalem.
Ali belongs to Assam and Priyanka is from Tamil Nadu and they got married about one year ago following a love affair while working in Liberty Aqua processing unit at Thoothukudi town of Tamil Nadu. They shifted from Thoothkudi and worked in an aqua firm at Ongole for three months. The couple came to North Rajupalem few months back.
Trouble started after Ali started suspecting her fidelity in the recent past and they have locked horns on Wednesday when Ali found his wife speaking to an unidentified person. SI Anji Reddy said, the couple fought on the road and Ali took the extreme step after rushing into the room. He bolted from inside before hanging himself. The police said they have registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
