Kurnool: Two die in bids to withdraw cash

Kurnoool: A 70-year-old woman suffered a heart attack and died at the Andhra Bank branch in Dhone on Friday where she had gone to collect pension. 

Sunkamma had gone to the bank to draw her pension. A bank officer said the woman was told that she had only Rs 200 balance. On hearing this she became dizzy and died.

Meanwhile in Anantpur, one K. Venkatesh, 52, collapsed while standing in a long queue at an ATM counter in Proddatur in Kadapa district on Friday. Sources said Mr Venkatesh while standing in the long queue suddenly fell down unconscious. People shifted him to a hospital but he died while being treated.
