Hyderabad: CPI legislator Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao found fault with BRS leaders for making statements about dethroning the Congress.

Speaking on the thanksgiving motion to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan's address in the Assembly, Sambasiva Rao said there was a restriction when the BRS was in power. “The voice of people was suppressed by the government through house arrests, illegal detentions and registering false cases against the political leaders and people's rights association activists,” he said.

Urging the Congress to implement people-friendly policies, citing BRS’ failure to do so as the reason for its poll loss, Sambasiva Rao said: “BRS MLA K T Rama Rao announced that they have 54 MLAs, including BJP and MIM, in the Assembly. The BRS MLA must explain his intention to the people.”
