Hyderabad: MANUU Chancellor Firoz Bakht Ahmed has expressed dissent over the composition of the fact-finding committee constituted by the UGC to probe charges against him and Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz.
Mr Bakht wants the committee reconstituted to include a woman member to inquire into alleged sexual harassment cases in the journalism department. He said that the committee appeared to be an eyewash and there was a need for a Presidential as the President was the visitor of the university. He said Union minister Maneka Gandhi had suggested the name of an activist Sunita Krishnan to be a member of the committee.
