ANANTAPUR: At least 50 medicos from RIMS in Kadapa tested C-positive on Monday while reports are awaited about the Covid-status of a few more medicos and other staff in the medical college.
A group of 150 medicos are scheduled to appear for final examinations of NTR Health University on Tuesday. Tests were done on all students who have to appear for the examinations. At least 50 samples tested Covid positive, spreading scare at RIMS.
The college authorities sent a report to NTR Health university seeking postponement of the examinations to avoid further spread of the virus at the exam centre and also in the hospital premises.
The infected medical students were kept in isolation at the medical college hostel premises.
