Hyderabad: Beat the heat with shades

Hyderabad: Former minister and Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao has come up with a novel idea to provide shades to pedestrians and bikers at Siddipet traffic signals in the hot summer.

Whatever Mr Harish Rao says, the Siddipet Municipality has always been ready to deliver its service.

Mr Harish Rao came up with the idea after he saw bikers suffering in the hot summer at traffic signals and at bus stands.

Following Mr Harish Rao’s idea, councillor Deepthi Nagaraju provided shades at the the old bus stand using green cloth.

The green-cloth shades have been put at some traffic signals also.

Thanking Mr Harish Rao, bikers have expressed happiness for the shades provided at traffic signals to beat the heat in the hot summer.
