Three-day international Conference on Dr BR Ambedkar from July 23

Bengaluru: PWD minister Dr H.C. Mahadevappa on Wednesday announced that the state government will host a three-day international conference from July 23 to commemorate the 126th birth anniversary of the architect of the Constitution, Dr B.R. Ambedkar, to which 150 dignitaries from across the globe have been invited.

Speaking to reporters after a high-level committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Mahadevappa said the event has been organised to spread the ideology of Ambedkar across the country and build a welfare and discrimination-free society.
