Mumbai: In process to cater the majority and new generation, including first time voters, the two major political parties --- Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party--- campaigned not only in traditional manner but also in the latest way.

Both the parties battled on social media as it plays an important role to widen their outreach. Their social media strategies included caricatures of the politicians, memes, video songs and various posts to create awareness about their agenda and goals for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Video Songs or Anthem

The Congress party released 'Ab hoga NYAY' catchy campaign theme song has become a big hit across India.

 Congress president Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Kerala's Wayanad and to woo the voters, the party released a special campaign in their language.

The Bharatiya Janata Party released their "Main bhi chowkidaar hoon" theme song.

Caricatures

Catching up on the trending GOT series, the party compared the main villians to BJP cadres.

Hitting back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress attacked on various agendas including Rafale, national security etc.

To counter Congress's dig via caricatures, Bharatiya Janata Party tried their level best and attacked the "mahamilavat" government 'in-formation'.

 

 

 

 

 

Apart from social media attacks on each other, the two parties have left no stone unturned to win the next round of general elections!
