Hyderabad: The HMDA on Saturday razed illegal constructions in a housing venture in Vattinagulapally in Rajendranagar limits on Saturday. The builder was constructing houses on a 2.5-acre parcel of land in violation of GO-111 which restricts polluting units in a 10-km radius of  Himayatsagar and Osmansagar reservoirs. The HMDA had issued notices a few weeks earlier.

According to Vigilance and Enforcement DSP Srinivas Reddy, planning and vigilance teams demolished the compound walls and rooms in the illegal lay-out. He said notices had been issued to illegal warehouses being constructed in Devaryamjal and a few buildings at the construction stage in Kandlakoya in Medchal limits.
