Mysuru: Amidst a raging debate over whether former Mangaluru DySP, M.K. Ganapati committed suicide after being harassed by Bengaluru development minister K.J. George, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah declared that the government had no intention to hand over the case to CBI.

Ganapati’s family has been demanding  a probe by the central agency claiming that they did not expect a fair investigation by state agencies or a judicial commission.

“We have handed over eight cases to the CBI so far but none of the reports have arrived. We have formed a judicial commission headed by retired high court judge Keshavnarayan.  Let the truth come out,” the Chief Minister said.
