Prakash Reddy appointed as new Advocate General for Telangana

He shifted to the Supreme Court in 1990 and returned to the High Court in 1998.

Prakash Reddy, who has worked for more than three decades at the High Court, was additional advocate general in erstwhile AP state.

Hyderabad: The state government on Monday appointed senior advocate D. Prakash Reddy as Advocate General following the resignation of Mr K. Ramakrishna Reddy last week. Mr Prakash Reddy, who has worked for more than three decades at the High Court, was additional advocate general in erstwhile AP state.

Born on December 31, 1955, in Amarchinta of Wanaparthy district, he completed his law in 1977 from Osmania University and enrolled as advocate in December 22, 1977. He worked with senior counsel K. Pratap Reddy for some time and started his practice in 1986. He shifted to the Supreme Court in 1990 and returned to the High Court in 1998.
