Nizamabad to get IT Tower, 4th in state

Hyderabad: The TS government has decided to build an IT tower in Nizamabad. IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao has announced Rs 25 crore for Phase-1 infrastructure works for the tower.

Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha and MLA Ganesh Gupta met Mr Rama Rao to discuss this project. They handed over a list of 60 US-based NRIs, many from Telangana state, who had expressed their interest to set up units in the IT tower.

The government is working on IT tower projects in Warangal, Khammam and Karimnagar. While the infrastructure in Warangal is in place, the Khammam IT Tower is in being built, and the ground breaking ceremony is due for the IT Tower at Karimnagar.
