L Ramana meets Governor E S L Narasimhan over NBW against Naidu
He also demanded that Maharashtra government revoke operation of the NBW.
HYDERABAD: Telangana TD president L. Ramana on Monday took a delegation to the Governor E.S.L Narasimhan and sought his intervention in stalling the operation of the non-bailable warrant issued against AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Mr Ramana told the Governor that Naidu went to the Babli project in 2010 as an Opposition leader to save the interests of TS farmers, but the issue was blown out of proportions to score political points. He said the TRS and the BJP are conspiring to put Mr Naidu behind bars because of their jealousy for the CM gaining international recognition after he was invited to address the United Nations during the last week of September. He also demanded that Maharashtra government revoke operation of the NBW.
