Prince of Arcot extends Deepavali wishes:
The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, wishes his Hindu brethren a very happy Deepavali, and said may the festival of lights brighten their homes, with all good health, happiness and long life.
Deepavali symbolises the triumph of good over evil and right over wrong.
We are part of humanity with all its rich diversity of religions, languages, cultures, traditions and experience, and our great secular country, India, forms a large microcosm of the contemporary world.
The common message of all faiths should promote communal harmony, respect to each other’s religion, tolerance and fraternal solidarity among people belonging to all communities, the Prince added.
