Aunt accuses Sandalwood actor Rishi for assault

Bengaluru: An FIR has been registered against a Sandalwood actor after his aunt filed an assault complaint with the Basaveshwar Nagar police. 

The police are investigating the charges against Rishi, who acted in the movie Operation Alumelamma. His aunt Shalini Gopinath alleged that Rishi assaulted her on October 10 over a property issue when she went to her in-laws' house, where Rishi lives with his parents.

The complainant said that Rishi and his parents assaulted her when a discussion over some property turned violent. She alleged that Rishi threatened her to sign on blank sheets of paper.

Rishi reacted, saying the accusations against him were false.

Rishi, who is busy with the shooting of 'Kavaludari', said that his aunt was indulging in such accusations to get money from him.
