Vijayawada: Making his displeasure over the disputes between Kanakadurga temple trust board committee and temple officials known, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday directed them to work in tandem.

Mr Naidu said that due to the disputes, Dasara celebrations were not making news but the differences between the trust board and officials had become the talking point of all concerned over the past few days.
He directed the trust board to cooperate with the officials for smooth Dasara Navaratri celebrations and warned them of stern action if more disputes were brought to his notice.
Meanwhile Krishna district collector B. Lakshmikantham conducted a review meeting with Vijayawada police commissioner Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Durga temple EO V. Koteswaramma, Mr Gouranga Babu and other officials.
The collector said that Antaralaya (sanctum sanctorum) darshan for Thursday was cancelled.
He said that darshan tickets will be not sold on Dasara day and devotees will be allowed for Laghu (short) darshan. He said that Goddess Durga will be in Mahishasuramardhini attire till 11 am on Thursday and would be in Rajarajeswari attire from 1 noon to 11pm.
