Telangana: KT Rama Rao seeks e-cars to link metro

The minister spoke to investors and visited the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu in Shizuoka, Japan.

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao showcasing Hyderabad Metro Rail to Suzuki Motor Corporation chairman Osamu Suzuki and asked him for his company’s under-development electric vehicles to provide last mile connectivity. He also explained about the government’s industrial policy and highlighted the opportunities for automobile investors in the state.

The minister spoke to investors and visited the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu in Shizuoka, Japan.

Mr Rao wrote on Twitter: “The museum tour was great but guess whose picture I get to see there? Our own mega star Chiranjeevi Garu. Felt nice to see someone from our motherland being recognised in a small town in Japan (sic)”.

He met Shizuoka Governor Kawakatsu Heita and discussed mutual cooperation and invited him to the state to explore synergies.
