CMRIT's Cultura begins with a bang!
The organisers are expecting about 15000 people over the course of the two days.
Bengaluru: The Raghu Dixit Project, DJ Aerreo and 3D printers for anybody to use - the ninth edition of Cultura, the annual fest at CMRIT, is back with a bang. “We're trying to up the ante even more this year,” said Karan Acharya, a student from CMRIT and one of those organising the festival this year.
“Students who have made trinkets and LED keychains with the 3D printers can also sell them on campus during the festival,” he said. The organisers are expecting about 15000 people over the course of the two days.
“We're also organising an art exhibition in the architecture block, which is a first for us,” said Karan. That apart, the festival includes the Fashion Show, Battle of the Bands, Saorsa - a chance for budding poets to create, narrate and perform their poetry and Paper Wings, an event that showcases original music. The Raghu Dixit Project will be the headlining act today, with DJ Aerreo bringing the festival to a close at what will be his first campus gig. The fest has been sponsored by HackerEarth, GetBuddy and Campus Diaries.
