Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has promised Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musaliyar, general secretary of All-India Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama, that all accused in the murder of Youth Congress worker T.H. Shuhaib  will be arrested. Musaliyar told reporters here on Sunday after meeting the chief minister  that the police had obtained accurate information about the accused. The details of the evidence  collected were not made public as it would  affect the probe. Political murders should not happen whoever rules the state, said Musaliyar.

The chief minister assured that the probe would be impartial without any political, religious or casteist influences.  The culprits in the case should  not escape the clutches of law and the government should punish them,  he said. Political violence is  against the interest of the country. The circumstance which helped the culprits to escape would encourage such instances in future, said Musaliyar.
