Maha Swamy threatens to move court against Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam
Maha Swamy said that he was taking a responsibility for protecting Hindu Dharma.
Kakinada: Sri Swaroopananden-dra Saraswathi, Maha Swamy of Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham, on Monday threatened to file a case against Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) to cleanse it of impurities.
He said that crores of rupees belonging to the TTD was either being diverted or being misused that should be stopped at once. He would wage a legal battle against it. However, he clarified that he was not saying anything against the Chief Minister or of filing a suit against him. He would not file the suit against TD. Sri Swamiji visited Kakinada, Karapa and Nadakuduru villagesand participated in Maha-kumbhabhisheka Maho-tsam at Bala Tripura Sundari Koneru and performed Abhishe-kams for Lord Shiva.
He told reporters that crores of devotees arrive at Tirumala from across the world but, the TTD officials fail to ensure quick darshan for them while implementing their own formulas without respect to the Hindu Dharmas. He said that the TTD was spending '500 crore for construction of a temple at Gunturu and '1,500 crore for other programmes. He said that he had the evidence to approach court against TTD. He demanded the government appoint executive officers and assistant executive officers who are believing and understand dharma and principles for TTD and other temples.
He said that he was taking a responsibility for protecting Hindu Dharma. He said that all political parties were approaching him with devotion, but he had not any political affiliation. Many devotees took his darshan at Nadakuduru and Karapa.
