Vijayawada: Yi amaravati chapter gets new team

Vijayawada: CII Young Indians (Yi) Amaravati chapter had got new team on Monday. CII-Yi Amaravati Chapter annual meeting with a theme focussing on “Engaging Youth towards building a Sustainable Amaravati” was held here on Monday.

Saathvik Chukkapalli, was appointed the chairman for 2019-20. He did his MS in Food Technology, Utah State University, USA.

Teja Bodepudi was appointed the co-chair. He did his B.Tech (IT) from PVT Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Vijayawada.

Speaking at the Annual Session AP Innovation Society, CEO, R S Winny Patro, CEO, said that start-ups play vital role in providing employment opportunities. He was of the view that there is a need to strengthen the ecosystem to promote investments and growth. Employability is the main driver in accelerating growth and development, he added.

He felt that there is a need to create conducive environment to attract non-resident Andhraites to work in Amaravati. He also emphasised that government has taken many efforts to attract investments in to Amaravati.

CII Andhra Pradesh Chairman, RVS Rudraraju, said that in a competitive federalism every state is attracting investment by organising investment promotional programmes. He felt that there has been increasing aspirations among the youth after completion of their education and they look for better opportunities in big cities. He also said that Amaravati would be a world class city.
