Public election department invites bids for web streaming of poll videos

The bidders will have to provide technical specifications for laptops, webcam, IP camera and Internet connectivity.

Chennai: Public election department has floated tenders through ELCOT inviting bids from the suitable bidders for web streaming of videos for general elections to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, 2016.

The bidders will have to provide technical specifications for laptops, webcam, IP camera and Internet connectivity. Through the district election offices the election department will also hire additional videographers to be deployed for surveillance team and to record the campaign in expenditure sensitive constituencies where VVIPs are to contest.

Meanwhile the district election officers have been instructed to hold awareness campaigns targeting places of educational institutions and spots where public congregate.
