Showers to continue in coastal Andhra Pradesh
Some isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh will receive light showers in the next few days.
Visakhapatnam: Some isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh will receive light showers in the next few days under the influence of a trough extending from Chhattisgarh to South Tamil Nadu across Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The rain activity over the last few days had brought down the temperatures somewhat across the state and it was limited to sub-38 degrees Celsius.
On Saturday, Ranastalam, Parvathipuram, Garugubilli, Denkada, Palasa, Vinjamur and Veeraghattam of Srikakulam received moderate rains. Meanwhile, temperatures hovered between 33 and 38 degrees Celsius in Rayalaseema. The highest maximum temperature of the day of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nandigama, Jangamaheswarapuram, Anantapur, Nandyal and Tirupati.
