Depressed patient jumps off Nims building in Hyderabad

The body of the victim has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem and a case under Section 174 was booked.

According to police, the guards heard screams of a man and a loud thud sound.

Hyderabad: A patient committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of Nims hospital under the Panjagutta police station limits.

The victim was identified A. Pandu Ranga, 44, from Adilabad. “The patient was suffering from liver problem. He might have committed suicide out of depression,” said S. Ravinder, inspector of Panjagutta station.

The body of the victim has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem and a case under Section 174 was booked.
