Bengaluru: Looking for a programme to enhance your child’s learning ability, communication skills and aptitude? A three-day programme for school children , scheduled for next week in the city, hopes to provide them all these skills and more.
The Young Adults Programme (YAP), organised by MyBoTree of Koramangala , will be open for children between 10 and 13 years old from April 25 to 27.
“The programme will see students being mentored and introduced to a broader realm of life skills, which schools really don’t touch upon,” explains Ms Sangeeta Mahendran, founder of MyBoTree. Bringing children with various interests under the same umbrella makes this programme different from other summer camps, she says.
Scheduled to be held at MyBoTree premises (opposite Printo, Koramangala, 5th Block), the programme will offer age-appropriate content and activities to build on academic success, social-emotional skills and healthy relationships.
According to the organisers, a team of experts from various domains such as learning research, corporate, accounting, and art and literature, will interact with students, mentoring them with a dose of fun and laughter. The line-up of experts includes academic advisor,
Sudarshan, poet , Pramod Shankar, corporate trainer, Gita Niketh, and comic artiste, Nasir Engineer.
