Hyderabad: Techie reported missing
According to the police, she had left home on Tuesday evening, informing her parents that she was going to office.
Hyderabad: A 23-year-old woman software employee was reported missing from her office in Ramanthapur under the Uppal police station limits on Wednesday.
The woman, V. Sneha Reddy, a resident of Saroornagar, is working as a software engineer in a reputed IT firm at NSL Arena, Ramanthapur. According to the police, she had left home on Tuesday evening, informing her parents that she was going to office.
However, on Wednesday morning she did not return, prompting her father, V. Ashok Reddy, to approach the police and lodge a missing person complaint.
Uppal inspector P. Venkateshwarlu said it was around 3.30 pm that Sneha Reddy left her home. She had boarded a cab provided by the firm and reached the office before 5 pm.
“Her father contacted the firm and learned that she had already left the office. After a search over three hours, he approached the police,” he said. Based on the complaint, police have booked a case under relevant sections of IPC. Meanwhile, the relatives alleged that Sneha was kidnapped by one M. Ramakrishna Reddy. “We are yet to confirm on this,” the official said.
